Students & Clinical Education

Evelyn Capdevila is clear that her professional legacy won’t be measured only by the clinics she operates — it will also be measured by the therapists and assistants she helps train along the way. After nearly 33 years in rehabilitation, she has made mentorship and education a deliberate part of Quality Physical Therapy’s mission.

Capdevila serves on the advisory committee for the Florida National University Physical Therapist Assistant Program, helping shape the education of future rehabilitation professionals. Quality Physical Therapy also welcomes students who need to complete clinical rotations, giving them hands-on exposure to patient care, professional documentation, communication, and the day-to-day realities of running a clinic.

Beyond the college level, the practice partners with local high school health academies, giving students who are exploring healthcare careers the chance to observe rehabilitation in action and understand what the profession actually involves — well before they commit to a degree path. Capdevila has also volunteered with the American Physical Therapy Association and has spoken at a national conference for minority physical therapists.

For students and aspiring clinicians, a placement at Quality Physical Therapy means learning from a team with experience across nearly every corner of the field — clinical care, compliance, chart auditing, ownership, and consulting. If you’re a student seeking a clinical rotation, an educator looking for a rotation-site partner, or simply someone exploring a future in physical or occupational therapy, we welcome the conversation.
